How it all started.

Before starting Traveler Supply Co, I was faced with a challenge: How do I create or find a product that was not only practical and useful, but also looked good?

I wanted to create a brand that not only focused on usefulness but also aesthetics. The idea of Traveler Supply Co did not happen overnight, but it was the result of years of brainstorming and experimenting. After I graduated from college in Los Angeles, CA, I moved back to my hometown in Fremont, CA to start a full-time marketing job at my dad's software company. It was during my free time that I would be researching and brainstorming ideas.

I wanted to create quality products that I would want to buy for myself.

Less = more. I like the idea of minimalism because having less is sometimes better.  Hence, I wanted to a create a product that was not only unique and great-looking but was also simple and clean. This idea also inspired me in how I designed Traveler Supply Co's website, as well as the packaging and branding.

It starts with packaging.

I personally think making a great first impression is important. I want people to get excited when they receive their orders in the mail, which is why I really believe that everything starts with packaging here at Traveler Supply Co.

I remember going through numerous trial runs, spending countless hours testing various packaging ideas. It's been a tedious process but definitely rewarding. I can say with confidence that the packaging is constantly improving! And even now, I'm on the look out for better and more efficient ways to package.
